Level 1

Insight

Embodiment · Self Awareness · Malkhut

Malkuth is the place where the soul proves its truth: what remains only in thought is still potential; what enters matter becomes destiny.

Level 1

Diving into the Essence of
Self-Leadership

The journey begins not with analysis, but with grounding, embodiment, and safety.

In the Tree of Life, Malkut (also spelled Malkhut) sits at the base of the Middle Pillar.  It is the tenth and final sephirah and represents the physical world, embodied experience and the culmination of divine energy’s descent into matter. It is also the start of the Self Leadership Journey from Malkut to Keter.

The Hebrew word malkut means “kingdom”; this sphere corresponds to the element of Earth.  Its position at the ground of the Tree reminds practitioners that spiritual ascent cannot begin until one is firmly rooted in the physical body.

Malkuth is the final sentence of every invisible process: the place where force becomes form and intention becomes fact.

At the Transcendent Institute we understand Kabbalah and yoga as complementary paths toward self‑knowledge. Kabbalah’s Tree of Life begins with Malkut, the “Kingdom” at the base of the Middle Pillar.  This sphere represents the physical world and embodied experience, reminding us that our bodies are not obstacles but the very foundation of consciousness.  Malkut teaches that the journey of soul‑elevation starts here, in the flesh, where divine energy becomes matter.

Yoga offers the practical means to explore that truth: through mindful movement, conscious breath and inward focus it bridges mind and body, enhancing self‑awareness and bringing us back into balance.  Breathwork (pranayama) and purification practices such as nadi shodhana and jala neti calm and reset the nervous system, opening the channels for prana (life‑force) to flow.  In this level we ground through the body, breath and self‑awareness; Kabbalah gives us the cosmogonic map of why the body matters, while yoga provides the techniques for how to inhabit it.  Together they invite us to feel our sensations, emotions and physical being as the meeting point of cosmos and consciousness.

the Insight

Orientation of the Level

Level I corresponds to the Insight, the base of the Tree of Life and the entry point of the Middle Path.

Psychologically and ontologically, the Foundation represents:

What This Level Develops

By the end of Level I, participants typically develop:

Its purpose is to start recognizing your true identity restoring contact with the body and the present moment, and to develop the capacity to stay with experience without dissociation, overwhelm, or control. Allowing to yourself to be able to observe yourself and prepare to ask the core question.

Here, transformation begins by slowing down and connecting with your body.

Embodiment & Nervous System Safety

Psychological Insight of the Work

Level I is rooted in somatic and body self-awareness.

Participants learn that presence is not a mental act, but a physiological state. Much of what blocks awareness is not resistance, but nervous system activation.

The work focuses on:

recognizing states of activation, collapse, and regulation

restoring a sense of internal safety

learning to stay present without forcing attention

omatic Awareness & Felt Sense

Participants are guided to reconnect with:

Drawing from somatic psychology and Focusing-oriented inquiry, the body becomes a source of information and orientation, not something to override or control.

Presence Before Insight

Level I intentionally avoids deep narrative exploration.

Rather than asking why something happens, the emphasis is on:

This creates a non-intrusive relationship with experience, essential for later Levels.

Somatic Dimension & Regulation

Level I introduces foundational regulation principles, including:

Participants learn that regulation is not control, but relationship.

Symbolic

Ontological Context

Within the Tree of Life, Malkhut represents:

Ontologically, this Level supports a shift from:

living in the mind to inhabiting lived experience

This grounding is essential. Without Malkhut, higher levels of awareness remain abstract or unstable.

A group of human beings, all with their heads down, except for one who is looking up, denoting superiority.

CONTACT FORM

Fill out the following form to get more details and updates about the conference.

Before you register

Do I need prior experience in philosophy or spirituality?

No. The content has been structured to be accessible both to the general public and to participants with academic or professional backgrounds. No prior training is required.

No. The conference does not promote religious systems or absolute doctrines. It is developed from an academic, experiential, and reflective perspective — non-dogmatic and intellectually open throughout.

The limited format allows for a far more personal, human, and meaningful experience than conventional large-scale events. Smaller groups enable genuine interaction, real Q&A, and a quality of presence that is not possible in a crowded auditorium.

The lecturer’s main language will be Spanish with translation to Romanian and English.

For terms and conditions, refunds and cancellations, check the Workshop Terms and Conditions.
