Level II - September 17th to 20th
Balance - Yesod
Self Leadership to the Next Level
Every level of this training serves one capacity: Self-Leadership — the ability to relate consciously to your inner world instead of being run by it.
Level I built the ground for it: to inhabit the body, settle the nervous system, and witness a reaction without being swept into it. That capacity is the instrument Level II depends on.
With it in place, this Level asks a question that could not be asked safely before:
Why am I the way I am?
You cannot consciously lead a self whose conditioning is invisible to you. So Level II turns to how identity forms — through conditioning, attachment, and the strategies a young person built to stay safe. The aim is not to fix these patterns, but to disidentify from the self-images and roles that once served a purpose and now run without being asked. As identification loosens, you can begin to choose where before you could only react.
Yesod: The Foundation
Level II corresponds to Yesod — the foundation of the Tree of Life’s middle pillar, directly above Malkuth. Where Malkuth is the ground you stand on, Yesod is the ground beneath it: the layer of self formed before you had words for it, still organising experience from below awareness.
- Ego structure — the organising system of who you take yourself to be
- Relational identity — the early templates for closeness, trust, and distance
- Emotional memory — the felt residue of experience, held before thought
The interface between your inner world and the outer one
It is also the point of decision: where thought and feeling gather and a choice is made before it becomes action. The pause that says, here, stop — the small space between an impulse and what you do with it. That space is what Self-Leadership is built on, and Level II trains it directly.
“You cannot change what you cannot trace. You cannot trace what you are unwilling to see in the dark.”
Where the Patterns Come From
The beliefs and protective strategies you can now observe were formed in relationship — in the early family field, in how safe and reliable care felt, in the residue of love, loss, and repair. This is not reducing a person to their history; it is recognising that we are relational from the start, and that early patterns keep organising experience long after the original relationships have changed.
The Strategy
Deep dive into your strategy, the set of decisions, beliefs and behavious that have made you are. We will explore your strategy and the relationship it has with your current life, if it is interfering or just needs more awareness on your side to be more connected with your goals and intentions
The Constructed Self
How early relationships become inner structure, and how a protective “false self” forms over what it was guarding. You will learn how to differentiate your self from that Constructed Self and be able to connect more with your true Self.
The Inner World of Parts
We use Internal Family Systems (IFS) as our main map of the inner world. It is a non-pathologising, widely used model with a growing research base — promising for trauma, depression, and chronic pain, though its controlled-trial evidence is still smaller than long-established approaches. We use it for self-understanding, not as a clinical treatment.

The Patterns of Yesod
When the foundation tilts, daily life tilts with it. This tradition doesn’t moralise — it reads these as energy out of balance, not as faults — and the same few patterns recur.
The Self Image That Takes Over
Everyone has a social image; that isn’t the problem. It begins when we live for the image itself, until a character splits off and runs the person, and we lose contact with what is real in us.
Understanding your imbalances
Needing approval so much that your own direction disappears. Here, staying attached feels like love and becoming yourself feels like betrayal. The balance to grow toward is both at once: love and independence.

The Identity Dimension
Identity is not only mental — it is held in the body. This Level uses foundational elements of Somatic Experiencing.
When origin work stirs real emotion, the body needs support to metabolise it. Regulation is what keeps insight from tipping into overwhelm — and what makes the depth usable.
Yesod and Yoga
In the yogic map this territory resonates with Svadhisthana, the sacral centre of water and emotion; practices such as Yoga Nidra (yogic conscious rest) help reach the pre-verbal layers this work touches.
What You Develop
Conscious disidentification from thoughts, roles, and narratives.
A clear, compassionate map of your inner parts and their history.
Understanding and integration of your imbalances and how to work them out. Greater regulation through somatic awareness.
A stable inner witness — the ground of Self-Leadership.
In Essence
You do not stop having patterns.
You stop being owned by them.
